Stress Free NYC

Wake up. Check Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat It’s a deadly cycle. One we’re basically all guilty of in this social media-addicted society. It’s the real everyday morning routine. I’ve caught myself many a groggy morning falling into an Instagram hole for what seemed like 15 minutes but was really over an hour (!). I said enough was enough and decided to truly commit myself to having as disconnected of a morning as I possibly could and see if it truly transformed my day. LISTEN UP. IT DID. Not only does it give me more time to plan my outfit or take the extra time to make breakfast, but it reminds me how great it feels to forget about all the stresses...

Red Scale

Don't you just love those days when your friend comes over to dress up, get creative and spill some tea. Well that's what happens every time my good friend Aniysa comes over. She has been my best friend for the past 5 years. This particular day she came over for some head shots for her website she is in the midst of cooking up. Afterwards I asked her to throw on some Cheeba's Goods garments and work her magic and this was the outcome. I've always felt we both lived lives together in another lifetime and every time I photograph her it's a confirmation. Woodstock Weekend Getaway

Last month I decided to take a spontaneous trip up to Woodstock with my o'l earth (mom). It was her birthday weekend and it felt necessary to take her away from the city and just kick back for a couple days, stress free and closer to the stars. I rented out a cheap cottage on Airbnb, copped two round trip bus tickets and told her to pack light. The moment we arrived we roamed the town, dug for records, wined, dined and found some thrift shops along the way. The cottage blew us away with it's vibrant colors, funky decor, color stories and hand made mosaic pieces the owner created. The perfect place for us to catch a vibe. I...

Sunshine and Thrift Shops

Yesterday during a surprising 59 degree weather day we linked up with our best friend Demi Vera to kick it in our borough and gather some inspiration and some much needed girl talk. We met up at her place off Kingsbridge Rd and started to make our way over to the Bronx Documentary Center off of 149th Street. On the way we spoke about all the things we want to accomplish and visions we have for our future. Demi has been someone who I found along my artistic journey over 6 years ago and we have been creating since. She is the one who introduced me to film photography, and self portaotry. We've curated art shows together in the past...

Pre-Valentine Pop-Up w/ Moremulher

Couldn't have asked for a better night with all the beautiful women that came out and took part in our last Pop-Up Shop. We decked ourselves out in silk and celebrated each other! An ode to self love.. Thank you to all ladies that helped bring this vision to life. Laura & Cherry for coming and decking out our pad in ruby red decorations. Arielle Moses for coming by and setting up a manicure station to slay all the girls with nail art; & Priscilla Aguilr for whipping up deserts from scratch using all natural ingredients. Her mexican chocolate macaroons, pomegranate cocoa hearts, and brownies had us all mesmerized. This beautiful union happening under the Full Moon lunar eclipse has given us so much love...
